HOW TO APPLY
All applicants are to go to their appointment in person.
The visa takes up to two working days and up to 14 working days in special cases.
Please ensure that visa applications reach the issuing authorities at least one week before departure date.
No on-the-spot Schengen visa will be issued.
The validity is three months from date of issue.

Forms can also be obtained/printed in this way.
NB: All persons requiring visas for French Overseas Territories and French overseas collectivities have to have direct approval from the authorities of the island concerned.
Delay - 15 working days
WHAT TO SUBMIT
- Four application forms.
- Four passport size photos (recent).
- Valid passport (valid at least three months after visa expires).
- Original airline ticket plus a photocopy of it - original will be returned immediately.
- Proof of sufficient funds (Receipt of Foreign Exchange / Traveller’s Cheques and/or latest Credit Card Statement indicating available credit limit as well as photocopies of these documents).
- Proof of hotel booking.
- Medical insurance PLUS A PHOTOCOPY OF FORM.
When travel tickets cannot be produced, the following documents must be submitted.
- Letter of guarantee from the bank.
- Letter of guarantee from the skipper of the yacht undertaking responsibility in case of financial difficulties or repatriation.
- A letter from a South African or French company is required for business visa.
- Also available - "Court Sejour" visa.
