Visas for Angola

HOW TO APPLY

Application forms are available at the consulate. Visa applications are processed through the Pretoria Consulate. The embassy only accepts applications on Mondays and Tuesdays between 09h30 and 12h00. Visa collections are on Fridays between 13h00 and 15h00 only. Processing time is 5 days from the date the application is submitted.

WHAT TO SUBMIT

• Valid passport with at least six months validity remaining and three adjacent clean pages.
• Two visa application forms fully completed and signed. Original signature required on each page.
• Two passport photographs required
• Application forms to be filled in black ink only
• Copy of ID book / recent stamp for foreign passports
• Copy of airline tickets or itinerary, showing exit from Angola, and copy of hotel reservation.
• Applicants must include a letter signed by the representative of the firm or institution employing, hiring or sponsoring the trip, with the specific reference to the job to be performed by the applicant, the duration of the engagement and assuming full financial responsibility for the applicant. It must be authenticated by a public notary.
• Statement agreeing to respect Angolan laws, authenticated by public notary.
• Once the visa is issued there is a 72 hour wait before the passenger can travel with the visa to Angola.
• Applicants do have to appear in person in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
